For the “As Moisturizing As…” campaign, Framestore tapped me to bring organic cherry blossoms to life with FX that feel both delicate and dynamic. Working off their beautifully shot plates, I used Houdini’s procedural tools to generate petal growth, bloom animations, and particle-driven winds, then composited each element seamlessly into the live-action footage. The deadline was as tight as they come, so I leaned on optimized rigs and custom VEX to hit render-ready frames fast. In the end, the petals float with a natural elegance that amplifies the spot’s beauty and hydration message. Projects like this always push my technical limits—and remind me that constraints often fuel the most rewarding creative breakthroughs.
